Columbia Gorge Art Festival 2014

The Columbia Gorge Art Festival is always a wonderful event.  Artists from all around the area bring their paintings, pottery, hats, cards, quilts, soap, jewelry, garden art, wood carvings, photography, hand made gifts and many other wonderful products to sell.  A portion of the proceeds goes to the Corbett School District.  A beautiful drive in the Columbia Gorge is always a good choice for a Saturday or Sunday Drive and the Columbia Gorge Art Festival is definitely a stop you will want to make.

Redo - White Tulips reworked

I decided to rework this painting.  It is an acrylic on canvas 24 x 36.  I liked it but it was never quite right so I spent some time on it and now I love it!

Before the tweaking

Sometimes you just have to look at a painting for a while to see what will work and what won't.  I'm glad I spent the time to do some tweaking.  Now I like it a lot.  What do you think?
